The Graphic Works Cadwallader Lincoln Washburn
Preliminary Release
Beginning Venice, 1903, and continuing to the Canary Islands, 1940, Cadwallader Washburn
produced nearly a thousand etchings, drypoint, and lithographs.
Throughout his life he constantly travelled in search of new subjects for his art,
sometimes spending a few months in a location, sometimes a few years.
His various destinations provide a convenient structure
for organizing the large majority of his works.
